M16A2 (Tokyo Marui)
by EliasOkay okay okay, it arrived today! Yes, my M16 A2! After a weekend of constanly reloading the UPS online tacking page (gotta love it) it arrived this morning at 9:47 am! Goddamn it it's a big box! First impression. Yikes! Beautiful piece of equipment, solid, DAMN heavy! Immediately began charging the large sized battery, I used the time to inspect it more closely.... Lots of metal!!! The barrel and front sights, the mag, rear sights, trigger, that little flap under the trigger that open on if you're wearing gloves, the bolt hatch, the T cocking handle, butt plate (which opens to insert the battery), and the switches. *phew* Ah yes, the sights. Adjustable front sight, requires a little key thats of course, included. Rear sights are selectable, a big and a small, and adjust forward/backwards, up/down, and left/right. It's all measured out nicely, marked in millimetres. The whole unit is nicely detailed, right down to the colt serial number, proper markings all over the place! Well, the time had come, battery was charged! Well, not really, only half charged but I could wait any longer, so in it went. WOW! Semi-auto was quite smooth, like my PDW, but a little heavier in the bass regions, and the bb was gone, faster than the PDW as well! After closing the window, time to fire full auto. Amazing rate of fire which I attribute to the eg 1000 motor haha, quite a nice set up! Complaints? Only one which I solved. I noticed that the graps and barrel were fairly loose, so, being as crazy as I am, I decided to open it up and see if I could do it myself, never opening an airsoft before I was a little nervous about opening it, after all, I'd only had it for a few hours. Popped out the pins, broke it open, and away I went, found the problem, just inside the grips behind a spring is a large nut I guess, tightened that and it's in perfect condition. Put eveything back as I found it, said a little prayer, and voila, one nice piece of machinery. Just be careful of one thing, when closing it up, make sure your fingers are not in the way, it hurts a lot haha. In closing I'd just LOVE to say everyone go buy one, so I will EVERYONE GO BUY ONE! Damnit it has a big bb loader...
