KG-9 (Maruzen)
by SniperThe KG-9 by Maruzen found its way into my hands a few months ago and I've been field testing extensivly to great success. First off, this gun is well made. All but the lower frame is metal, which lends to the overall hefty weight of the arm. It's also very durable, which as we all know is important when you're under supressive fire and you make the dive for the low lying ditch or behind the tree stump. I put it through the paces and it survived my abuse. Accruacy is quite good for a sub gun that fires from the open bolt. I can put all 40 shots through a paper plate at 10 meters. It's also worthy to note that the heavy weight (1350g.) keeps the recoil under control. It can be used as a primary weapon, but I use it as my back up for my AUG and G3 (both electric deamons from hell, or so say my adversaries). All in all, a worthy gun that can hold up under the rigors of combat. The only complaint that I have is that the magazine is a sort of a trapazoid shape, which sometimes hangs up in magazine well during frantic reloads. It's pretty minor in the back up role, but could pose a problem if used in the primary role.
Definitely worth the 17,000 yen paid. Matt Lutynski a.k.a. Sniper
